About the Event
The most important component of the communication infrastructure (between user-vehicle-infrastructure) required to ensure functions such as driving in traffic, ensuring road and passenger safety, effective use of transportation infrastructure capacities, and reducing travel times, which are among the main objectives of Intelligent Transportation Systems, is Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) communication technologies. In this workshop, studies will be conducted on (1) the status of V2X communication technologies and the opportunities they provide to intelligent transportation systems, (2) the present and future of autonomous/semi-autonomous vehicles expected to be present in traffic in the near future, the use of V2X technologies in autonomous vehicles, (3) the legal dimension of accidents caused by autonomous vehicles in the future, (4) the status of Intelligent Transportation Technologies in our country and in Istanbul, readiness for the use of V2X technologies, and related topics.
